Originally the cats adorned Peter Criss' drumkit riser during the KISS Love Gun Tour. There have been many rumors behind the number 3 tattoo and the 3 found on the back of the Catman's tour costume vest. But the Catman himself says, It's “nothing deep" and that it's related to the holy trinity, 3 has always been a lucky number, and he is the third member to join the original lineup.
